Eligibility criteria
You can get HSBC Premier - including a dedicated Relationship Manager - if both of the following apply to you:
- You pay your annual income into your HSBC Premier Account
- You have savings or investments of at least £100,000 with HSBC in Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man
You can get HSBC Premier – not including a dedicated Relationship Manager – if you have all the following:
- Pay your annual income into your HSBC Premier Account, and
- Have an annual personal income of £100,000 or more (at least one person must have this if you have a joint account), and
- Have a mortgage with HSBC in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, with a minimum qualifying mortgage of £350,000, or
- If you’ve already qualified for HSBC Premier in another country, you can get HSBC Premier, not including a Relationship Manager – even if you don’t meet the criteria listed above
We don’t count anything you hold with M&S Bank, first direct or any other HSBC entity.

Things you should know
HSBC Premier is subject to status. We'll review your account on a regular basis and if you no longer meet the qualifying criteria, we'll transfer your account to a Bank Account.
Account opening and credit is subject to status. All applicants are required to provide a passport or national ID card and proof of permanent residential address.

Worldwide Travel Insurance is provided by Aviva Insurance Limited in the UK. To be eligible you must:
- Be under the age of 70 on the start date of your trip
- For medical claims be registered with a doctor in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man
- Be a resident of the Channel Islands or Isle of Man
NOTE: If you have used a foreign address to open your account and now have proof of a Channel Island or Isle of Man address meeting HSBC address requirements and meeting all other eligibility criteria for Travel Insurance, please go into your local branch to provide this so we can update our records.
