About the Savings Booster account

  • All rates are AER/Gross and fixed for 4 months
  • Interest will be calculated daily and paid at the end of the 4-month term
  • Offer only applies to new funds brought in from outside HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man during the offer period
  • The new funds must increase your total balances with us1 by at least £10,000 or more, when compared to your total balances on 24 April 2025
  • You will be charged for early withdrawals
  • At the end of the 4-month term, your deposit, plus interest, will be paid into your nominated HSBC instant-access account
  • Your nominated instant-access account must be held for the full 4-month term

  • Be an HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man customer
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a residential address within the Channel Islands or Isle of Man

    Deposits of £50,000 or over: You can't close the product or withdraw any money until the end of your fixed rate period. Deposits under £50,000: You can withdraw all of the money and close the product early, for a fee of 90 days interest. Depending on when you break your deposit, the fee may exceed the interest earned and could result in you getting back less money than you originally deposited. No partial withdrawals are permitted.

    AER (Annual Equivalent Rate): This is a notional interest rate which illustrates what the gross rate would be if interest were paid and compounded each year.

    Gross: The interest rate before the deduction of tax applicable to interest on savings accounts.

    It is your responsibility to report earnings to the appropriate tax authorities. However, all the interest you earn from your accounts may be subject to reporting to relevant tax authorities.
