Fixed Rate Saver Maturities

Reinvesting

You can let us know any time before your Fixed Rate Saver matures if you would like to reinvest.  You can also do this up to 90 days after maturity, and keep the same account number.  You will receive the rate on the day that the account is opened.

If your Fixed Rate Saver matured more than 90 days ago, you cannot reinvest with the same account number, but you can open a new account.

Other Options

If you haven’t asked us to reinvest, at the end of the fixed rate period, your account will be closed and your funds and interest paid into the account they came from.

Fixed Rate Saver accounts are only one of a wide range of savings accounts available from HSBC.  Why not take this opportunity to review your savings needs for the coming year, and see which account might suit you best?

Regular Saver Maturities

At the end of the 12 months, we’ll transfer your account balance to a Flexible Saver, HSBC Premier Savings or Instant Access Savings Account in the same name as your Regular Saver.

If you do not hold any other savings accounts with us in exactly the same names as your Regular Saver account, then it will be automatically converted to a Flexible Saver or a HSBC Premier Savings account on maturity.

You cannot reinvest your Regular Saver with the same account number, however you can open a new account once the funds have matured.
