Switch your mortgage deal

If your HSBC mortgage rate is ending, we can help you find your next deal.

As an existing customer, you're one step ahead

If your current mortgage deal with us is coming to an end, we make it easy to switch to a new one.

  • Access special rates for existing customers
  • Switch quickly – it can take 4 to 8 weeks to move to another lender
  • Lock-in your rate up to 6 months before your current deal ends.

How to switch your rate

1. Check your end date

We’ll remind you when your current deal is due to end - you can choose a new rate up to 6 months in advance. You could switch earlier, but there might be an early repayment charge.

2. Review the latest rates

Take a look at our latest rates. You'll find a selection available to you, based on your mortgage balance and property value. Then, choose one to switch to.

3. Contact us to renew

Chosen your rate? You'll need to book a branch appointment or a telephone appointment to finalise your new deal.
